Get ‘Famous’ ~ become well known, create a buzz about you, make yourself easy to find . . . .  these things help you get found more easily and more often by those looking for what you have to offer.

• It may seem obvious — but you’d be surprised how many business people forget — but have your business cards handy, always keep some with you wherever you go
• Use your customer mailing list to keep in touch; thank you, holiday or birthday note cards help them remember you, especially if you can include a special discount or coupon
• Create a press release for yourself at least twice per year; let people know what’s new, remind them what you have to offer
• Volunteer your expertise to a community service
• Display your web address prominently for people to see & remember; add it to your voicemail so if a customer misses you by telephone, they can check you out on the web
